We didn't start as a brand. We started as a campground.
5Star Camp didn't begin in a boardroom or a pitch deck. It began at Branson Shenanigans RV Park, where we run day-to-day operations — the lot assignments, the maintenance calls, the 6 a.m. septic surprises, the families pulling in after a 9-hour drive looking for somewhere good to land for the night.
Everything you'll find in this shop came out of that work. Not theory. Not something we read about and repackaged. Things we actually needed, couldn't find anywhere else, and ended up building ourselves.
The problem with most RV and campground advice
When we went looking for real guidance on running a park — or living the RV life full-time — we found two kinds of content. Glossy, surface-level stuff that made everything sound easy. Or generic hospitality advice borrowed from hotels that ignored everything that actually makes a campground different: the septic systems, the seasonal cash flow swings, the guest who's been "just visiting" for eight months.
Neither one was useful when we were the ones standing in the rain looking at a flooded drain field. So we started writing down what actually works — for us, on our own property — and turned it into something other operators and travelers could use too.
What we're building
5Star Camp is a small, growing family of tools and resources, all built from the same place: real operating experience, not a marketing department.

- The RV Park Operator's Bible and our ownership/investment track — for anyone evaluating, buying, building, or running a park, written the way we wish someone had written it for us.
- 5star.camp, our software platform — built directly for the day-to-day reality of running a park, because we got tired of tools that were clearly never tested at an actual campground.
We're not a big company pretending to understand this industry from the outside. We're a small operator that decided to write everything down and share it.
Why it matters to us
Branson Shenanigans is still open. Still running. Still the place where every idea in this shop gets tested before it ever reaches you. If something doesn't hold up in real life, it doesn't make it into a course, a guide, or a tool — no matter how good it sounds on paper.
That's the whole story, really. We run a park. We figured some things out the hard way. Now we're sharing it so you don't have to.
